Ian D'Sa, born on October 30, 1975 in the United Kingdom, is the guitarist for Billy Talent. Portuguese roots / India (Goa), he grew up in Ontario to learn to play guitar at the age of 13. In high school, he started a band called "Dragon Flower", and finally found Kowalewicz Benjamin, Jonathan Gallant and Aaron Solowoniuk in the high school talent show. He started a new band with them when his previous band, To Each His Own was broken, and formed "Pezz" (later to become "Billy Talent"). While Billy Talent, D'Sa went to Sheridan College where he got his degree in classical animation and even worked on Angela Anaconda as an animator. He played guitar in Sarah Slean "lucky me". He also co-produced with Billy Talent II with Gavin Brown. He now focuses on the tour and recording Billy Talent.
Playing live shows, he plays a Fender Stratocaster montego black with a red or gold pua. In the study, he uses' una'52 Re-issue Fender Telecaster, a '62 Fender Jazzmaster, a '58 Gibson Les Paul Junior guitars and several other "old".
